Deposits Due by Friday, October 10, 2014
A deposit of $50.00 is due by Friday, October 10, 2014, for all students who are planning to participate in the trip to Washington DC, which will be held on April 8, 9, & 10, 2015. The cost of this year’s trip is $460.00. The balance will be due by Friday, February 6, 2015.
Deposits will be collected during 8th grade lunch periods the week of October 6-10, 2014. Payments may be made in cash or checks. Please make checks payable to OFMS. Online payments may be made on EZPay by clicking here.
Washington DC Parent Meeting
We are having our first parent meeting on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, from 7:00-8:00 PM in the OFMS Cafetorium. Students may attend but are not required to do so. Interested parents may sign up to be a potential chaperone at this meeting. Final selection and notification will be by Friday, January 30, 2015. Parents that are selected as chaperones must be able to attend a required meeting of all chaperones on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 7:00-8:00 PM, in the OFMS Media Center.
Washington DC Fund Raiser
Eighth graders will be participating in a fundraiser to help defray the cost of their trip to Washington DC. The sale will run from Thursday, September 25 through Monday, October 13. Students will earn $5.00 towards their trip for every item sold. Students are not to be selling these items at school or to staff members. See flier
Final DC Parent & Student Meeting
There will be a required parent and student meeting on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, from 7:00-8:00 PM.
