On October 10th the eighth grade band members will join forces with one of the largest Northeast Ohio Marching Bands, your own Olmsted Falls Bulldog Marching Band, to perform an exciting pregame show for our Homecoming Game. After pregame, students will have the pleasure of sitting with the Marching Band members in the stand during the game where they will participate in helping us cheer on the Bulldogs in a win over Amherst. In order for this night to be successful, the students will need to participate in one exciting Thursday Night Rehearsal, October 9th, where they will learn the basics of Marching and the drill that we will be performing for the pregame show. Mrs. Budd and the High School Students are excited to be able to meet the future Marching Band members. We ask all students to show their Bulldog pride and wear BLUE and GOLD for the game.
8th graders performing must turn in a signed permission slip and must also have a parent or guardian able to pick them up after the performance. All performing students must also attend practice on Thursday, October 9th.
Thursday, October 9th, Schedule:
Middle School Band
5:45 PM-Middle school band students arrive at the High School band room (Olmsted Falls High School).
9:00 PM – Combined practice ends. Middle School Band Parents are to park in the parking lot and walk up to get their student. (Olmsted Falls High School)
Friday, October 10th, Schedule:
Middle School Band
5:45 PM- Meet at the high school band room (Olmsted Falls High School) and line up for parade block.
After the pregame performance, middle school students will have the opportunity to sit in the stands with the High School Marching Band. If your child is unable to stay for the entire game, you will pick up your child at the oval immediately following the pregame performance. (Approximately 7:05 PM)
