Hi NCCS Families!
We are off to a great start!
School hours are 8:45am – 3:15pm.
Please keep in mind that teachers begin teaching right away and teach up through dismissal. Students are tardy after 8:45, and it is strongly discouraged to pick up your child early unless absolutely necessary. If not in class during school hours, your kiddo will miss out on important stuff!
Student Agendas are coming! Unfortunately they’ve been delayed, but they’ll be arriving soon… If you’ve not already purchased your child’s agenda, you can simply send the $5 to the office.
Drop Off and Pick Up is already improving! We know the first week is always a little hectic; here are a couple of things to help even more…
**Please have your child ready to exit your car when you pull forward to the drop off areas.
**Please pull all the way forward – both drop off and pick up.
**Please have car hanger visible at pick up to display your child’s name.
**If you are walking up to pick up your child, please bring the car hanger. This will help ensure your child is called.
**Please ALWAYS WALK SAFELY! Use the crosswalk! Pay attention to traffic! Wait for cars to stop before making your move!
Cafeteria Volunteers Needed! If you’re available to help, please do! This is such a fun way to watch our kiddos interact with each other. Parents are needed to help open juice boxes, etc., as well as wipe tables and help keep the cafe tidy. Teachers are always on duty to monitor the students, but having an extra hand or two helps keep the cafeteria clean and ready for the next group of students.

Our first parent volunteer meeting will be held Thursday, August 23rd at 8:45 in the auditorium. Please join us if you can.
