Drop Off and Pick Up

Hello Stingray Families!
Our first week parking lot woes are lessening already; these tips can help even more! Thank you for following these steps to speed up the process!

 Official drop off time begins at 8:15.
 Parking in the drop off/pickup lines is not allowed for any reason. If you must get out of your car for any reason, you must pull into a parking spot.
 When dropping off/picking up, please use both lanes and pull your car all the way forward to the painted line. There are designated boxes for each vehicle. This allows us to load/unload more students every time we stop the traffic.
 Please do not stop your vehicle on the crosswalk. We use the crosswalk while cars are stopped, so please keep it clear at all times.
 If you are using a crosswalk and the traffic is moving, please stay on the sidewalk and cross when traffic stops to load or unload. Please use the crosswalks to cross as quickly as possible. Additionally, please cross in groups if possible so that we can keep the traffic from having to stop numerous times.
 Please STAY IN YOUR CAR! Let staff/volunteers help get kids out of and in to cars. We will come get them when it is safe to open the doors and exit the vehicle.
 Please have your students ready to exit the vehicle quickly so that they are ready when the escort arrives. Have doors unlocked and students ready to go with all their possessions in hand.
 Please note that the jogging club is dismissed around 8:38 and we will be stopping traffic to get the students back to their classes. It is recommended to avoid dropping off at this time.
 As the first week concludes, we ask that parents not be on campus in the morning unless you have an appointment and have checked in as a visitor. Please be respectful of the teachers planning time by making an appointment if you need to speak with them.
 If you prefer to park and walk up to pick up your students, please have your car placard ready to hand in and we will get your child to you as quickly as possible. Parents must wait outside the gate.
 Remember that classrooms are open for students at 8:40. Students are considered late if not in their classrooms by 8:45. Our dismissal time is 3:15.
 We must continue to keep our parking lot open for through traffic in the afternoon, therefore we ask that both lanes are passable until 2:45. Parked vehicles prior to 2:45 may be asked to pull into a parking spot.

Thank you all for such a great week!
