Geography Bee has been canceled this year by the association that sponsors this event.
Description of Activity: 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students take a qualifying exam in social studies class. The students who qualify participate in a Geography Bee. The winner of the bee then takes the state qualifying exam. This written exam determines whether the student will qualify for the State Geography Bee. State competition determines Ohio’s representative at the National Geographic Bee in Washington D.C. in May.
