On February 22 and 23, 2016, our Project Lead the Way classes participated in a workshop in which the students modified popular toys so they could be used by students with physical disabilities. This Replay workshop is a great way for our students to actually do the real work of engineers by reengineering a product for a modified use.
Our part of this project will be to have a toy drive in which we collect specified new and gently used toys, which will be modified for use by students with physical disabilities. The toy drive will be held from February 29-March 4. Stay tuned for more information as to the specific toys which are needed.
